How to put a logo on a jacket?
There are a few ways you can print your logo on the jackets. We have tried to put together as much information as we can to explain this process. Please see the list below for ways you can personalise your jacket using a logo.
Transfer Printing
To transfer print your logo, all you need is an inkjet printer and some transferred paper. The first step of this process requires printing out the design on standard white cotton fabric with any colour combination that best suits what the business offers - then simply ironing it onto another piece overlapping by about 1-inch sq. This will allow us to achieve two different effects depending upon our desired result.
Screen Printing
This process is a little more complicated, and not everyone will be able to carry it out at home. In general, the idea of screen printing is taking a frame, stretching a piece of mesh fabric across the frame, applying ink with a squeegee over the stretched mesh surface and transferring it onto whatever you'd like printed on. In this case, we will need Sintra/plexiglass sheets cut in half for ease of fitting them into custom jacket sleeves, then transferred ink for that transparent look needed plus an appropriate squeegee to transfer your logo onto your jacket fabric. You can get jackets personalised using screen printing using our services if you don't feel safe doing this yourself.
Heat Press / Heat Transfers
This method uses a hot press machine (An iron could work too), transferring the ink from a piece of paper, magazine or whatever printed material it can be found on to any fabric. Sintra/Plexiglass plastic usually works well with this method because its temperature tolerance levels are higher than most other fabrics.
Embroidery
The logo is stitched into the material in a variety of ways, from being discreetly sewn on to standing out proudly. Embroidery is slight more expensive than the above printing methods as it involves an extra step of converting a digital file into a stitch file.
Where do logos go on jackets?
Companies don't just put their logo everywhere to look good, do they? No… logo placement needs to be taken into consideration carefully because if it does not fit properly, your clients may find your jacket unprofessional and amateur looking. How do you transfer pictures to fabric?
There are many ways to transfer pictures onto fabric. Depending on the kind of picture you want to make, there is a different method for each. You can use watercolour paper, which you paint over with water and then place it face down on your material.
You can also print pictures in reverse on iron-on paper, cut them out, and iron them onto the material. If you have a colour copier or printer at home, you can photocopy pictures with an image that reverses out of the machine (some machines automatically do this).
