Many businesses have been forced to re-think their approach to events because of the COVID-19 pandemic. But as New Zealand moves out of lockdown and into a new era of post-pandemic life, what will conferences and events look like?

There’s no doubt that social distancing measures are here to stay. Event planners need to be creative in how they accommodate these measures. One option is to host smaller, more intimate events with fewer attendees. This way, it will be easier to maintain proper social distancing protocols.

Alternatively, some businesses may still choose to host virtual events. It’s worth considering alternative formats such as hybrid events, which combine elements of both in-person and virtual gatherings. Businesses can ensure that their post-pandemic conferences are successful by carefully considering these challenges."face

Use promotional merchandise to increase brand awareness and loyalty

American Express’s Global Forecast predicts that in-person events will see a resurgence starting in 2022, as lockdowns are lifted, and more people are vaccinated. This means that more charities, galas, tradeshows, and other events will be taking place.

Businesses can leverage most of such events to increase brand awareness with promotional items. Promo items are powerful marketing tools that can help companies to achieve their marketing goals. They can be used to promote new products, raise brand awareness, generate leads, and more.

And because promotional items are often used daily, they provide a constant reminder of the brand, helping to keep it top of mind. In addition, they can generate word-of-mouth publicity and create buzz as well.""

In-person events are great for reminding consumers of your brand. It’s a chance to connect with them and create a lasting impression.

Promote health and wellness with promotional products

As a business owner, it is vital to show that you care about the well-being of your employees, clients, and customers. One way to do this is to give out items that promote good health and wellness.

You’re sending the message that you care by giving away items like water bottles, sanitisers, face masks, fitness tracker journals, etc. With the right promotional products, you can create a sense of belonging within your company. When your

employees or customers feel like they are part of a community, they are more likely to be loyal and engaged with your brand.

Show support for eco-friendly practices with promotional items and giveaways

Virtual conferences and meetings have led to a renewed focus on eco-friendly practices and sustainability. While businesses need to go paperless"" whenever possible, waste reduction methods must also be applied during outdoor meetings.
